KIF AG

What is the KIF AG?

The KIF AG plans the next KIF which takes place in Aachen.

What is a KIF?

KIF is the German abbreviation for the Conference of German speaking Computer Science Students. This conference takes place every semester, the 53,5th KIF (we count in half steps) took place in Novemeber 2025 and the next KIF, the 54,0th will take place in May 2026 in Aachen. You can find more information about the KIF at kif.rocks.

Why do we organize a KIF?

The KIF is a feeling, an experience. Some of us are active for years within this conference, and for us the KIF is a heart project. The last KIF in Aachen took place in 2015, together with the Conference of Mathematics students (KoMa) and the Conference of Physics students (ZaPF). This was more than 10 years ago. Time to bring the KIF back to Aachen!

You want to participate in the KIF AG?

Great! If you have the motivation to help us you are more than welcome! We search for people who are willing to plan this conference with us. Write us an email at kif540@fsmpi.rwth-aachen.de and we invite you to our next meeting :).
