Get Involved in the Student Council

The student council – that's all of us! More precisely: All students in our subjects belong to the student council. The active student council consists of those who regularly contribute, for example in meetings, committees, or working groups.

What does the student council do?

  • We represent you in university committees and advocate for better study conditions.
  • We organize events like the freshman weekend, game nights, or the Linux install party.
  • We collect old exams and provide information about studying.

How can you get involved?

It's simple: Just come by! For example, to our weekly student council meeting, which takes place every Monday evening. Or check out one of our working groups (WGs) - from freshman topics to IT security, there's something for everyone.

Why get involved?

  • You meet committed fellow students and become part of an active community.
  • You can make a difference, have a say, and participate in decisions.
  • You gain insights into university structures and collect valuable experience.

There are no strict requirements - you just need to want to get involved. So come by, we look forward to seeing you!
