Reminder: Expiring examination regulations (B.Sc. Computer Science 2018)
For the Bachelor’s program in Computer Science, the 2018 version of the examination regulations will expire this semester. This means, that after 30th September 2026, degrees can only be achieved under the new examination regulations from 2022. This applies to students in the Bachelor’s program in Computer Science, who began before winter semester 22/23 and have not yet switched to the new examination regulations. The deadline is determined by the date of the last exam. Even taking the colloquium on 1st October 2026 means, that the degree can only be achieved under the rules of the new examination regulations. If you are still under the old regulations and will not finish this semester, you are automatically switched to the new examination regulations. In that case, please note the differences between the old and new regulations, especially the 2 new mandatory courses that you will then have to take. The Computer Science Student Advisory Service can help you with the specific planning of your own course of study.
