It has become a nice tradition in the student council to have a Linux Install Party at the beginning of the semester to support the new first time students and veteran with installing Linux. However, as you can imagine, this requires a lot of organization and that is the main task of the Open Source Software AK (OSAK) at the moment. So if you are interested in participating in the organization, you are welcome to subscribe to the OSAK mailing list and be informed about all current developments.

If you want to help at a Linux Install Party without participating in the preparations, subscribe to the helper mailing list.

Of course, you are also welcome to contribute new ideas for projects in the area of open source software yourself and thus look for support for the work. More information can be found on the OSAK website.

The next OSAK meeting will take place on Tuesdays in even weeks at 8 p.m. in the rooms of the student council in the computer science center (room 2015, main building, ground floor).
